Functional Medicine Health Coaching Support

As a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, I help clients translate insights about their health into practical, sustainable lifestyle changes.

In my practice, coaching forms part of the consultation process. After reviewing your health history, symptoms, and scan insights, we work together to identify realistic starting points for improving your wellbeing.

Rather than following rigid programmes, the focus is on small, manageable adjustments that support your body’s natural ability to rebalance over time.

My approach draws on principles from:

  • lifestyle medicine
  • functional nutrition
  • mind-body medicine
  • positive psychology
  • behaviour change science

These tools help bridge the gap between understanding what may be contributing to symptoms and making practical changes that support recovery and resilience.


When coaching support may be helpful

Some clients benefit from additional guidance when implementing lifestyle changes such as:

Coaching support can be provided in person or online, depending on your needs.

Between-Session Support (Optional)

Some clients choose to have structured support between sessions to stay on track, ask questions, and make small adjustments as needed.

This support runs over a 4-week period following your consultation and is designed to complement your personalised plan.

This support is optional and can be discussed at the end of your initial consultation.

Light Support — R300 (4 weeks)

Guided Support — R550 (4 weeks)

Check-ins are brief updates from you, and responses are focused on guiding your current plan.

All communication is structured, with responses provided within 24 hours on weekdays.

A note about consultations

For most clients, the starting point is an initial consultation, where we review health history and explore patterns that may be contributing to symptoms.

Coaching support may then be incorporated as part of follow-up sessions, helping you implement and sustain positive changes over time.
